I definitely understand artistic burn-out. I'm a dev, not for video games, but it sucks balls and really impacts work and life. I hope the dev is able to bounce back strong.

Someone here said the dev got burnt out, which as a dev myself who went through burnout, I completely understand the long wait. Burnout sucks and can take a long time to recover, and it impacts work and life.
