Hey! We shipped a mutliplayer dub booth, inspired by "The Choicer Voicer".

Friends join a room, pick characters, watch the original scene, then record line by line to picture. Takes stay blind until everyone is done. Then you watch the mix together.

Play in the browser. No install. No accounts. Windows, macOS, Linux, Chromebook. If the browser can use a mic, you can dub. Solo works too: one person can take every role.

The Choicer Voicer is the reference and inspiration for that loop: hear the line, then do the same picture without their voice. This exists because that tool has no remote multiplayer. We wanted the same booth with people who are not in the same room.

A session

1. Host a room. Send the code, or the invite link.
2. Put a scene on the stand. One clip ships with the site. Drop a zip for everything else.
3. Claim roles. Or turn on Streamer mode and let Twitch chat cast them.
4. Watch it once, straight. Original picture, original audio.
5. Record. Hear the line, then do the same picture without their voice. Lock a take or hit REC again.
6. Play the dub. Picture from the top, your voices on the timestamps. Download the mix if you want to keep it.

Two ways to record

• One at a time: one shared booth. The room goes around: one mouth, then the next.
• Everyone at once: own booths. You only hear the others at the end.

Streamer mode

Connect Twitch on the landing page. Chat types a player name, that is the vote. No commands. They cast the roles (thirty seconds each). After the dub, they vote who performed.

Bring your own scenes

The booth is the product. The library is not. Drop a zip in the lobby:

• Yappadub packs (pack.json + video, optional backing track)
• Choicer Voicer dub packs: same zips, no conversion step

You only load clips you have the right to use. Other people in the room get those files from your browser, not from a library on this site.

This is early. Allow the microphone when the browser asks, and use Check the mic on the landing page before you host. If the meters stay cold, the booth will not record.

If you try it, I want to hear how the booth felt;  especially with friends on different machines, or with a Choicer pack you already have.
