pretty nifty game. the main loop gets a little repetitive after a while and the delivery scenes feel sorta disjointed from the dungeon scenes. its also weird that the dungeon levels are mouse only whereas the delivery scenes are keyboard only. some extra feedback and sound effects could go a long way, and i feel like the intro gives the wrong impression, saying that "the thing youre looking for is **found** in this dungeon", making me initially think that the goal is to FIND something when in reality its to KILL something. the car controls reversing directions when going backwards also felt weird and arbitrary to me. cool entry!!
some more varied and interesting level environments could be cool for a full-er version (its a game jam so its understandable that the environments were very simple). im really surprised by how well the simple shooting mechanic works, and everything is communicated really clearly and intuitively too. just a really strong entry all around. well done.
honestly incredible game for a game jam, alice ai is sufficiently annoying, everything felt super fun and creative. some minor nitpicks i have are that the lives system feels sorta unnecessary (why cant you just retry each segment infinitely?), the music doesnt feel like it fits the goofy theme super well, and when keyboard controls were randomly required at the end there wasnt a very clear indicator of that (as every subsequent puzzle uses mouse only). those are just nitpicks though, extremely strong entry overall.
cool little game!! the last level dragged a bit and feels like a big departure from the rest of the game, and some extra effects could go a long way as far as reinforcing player actions (extra movement effects or effects for killing things). it also wasnt entire obvious a lot of the time what buttons did what and whether enemies needed to be killed for a segment. good entry!!!
wheres my teddy, i need my own personal teddy.
good little game, the walking around while trying to do the wires simultaneously is pretty cool. the last level though inhibited movement so much i just stayed on the girl and spammed space. the enemy warding could be more refined, but this is a great jam entry.
