Quick Update:
So I figured out how to recover my save. had to search through the appdata folder and eventually found the old save0.dat file, (still confused why THATS still there but the launcher dissapeared), redownload the game from browser, outside of the itch launcher, and then paste the save file into the new download.
Still doesn't fix the whole problem but at least I can keep playing
I bought Bug Fables on itch and have been extremely enjoying it. Or at least, I was. Note that 'm pretty sure this is a problem with the launcher, not the individual game.
I had played for about 15 hours. Then, about a week ago, opened the itch app and clicked bug fables, but what opened wasn't the game itself, but the demo. The full game seems to have vanished from the app. I clicked the "manage" button and it only said the demo was available, and clicking on the game through the app lead to it not recognizing I bought it. When I manually go to Bug Fable's Itch page on my browser, it says that I already bought it.
Anyone else experience a similar problem? Know the cause? I would really like to recover my saves if possible.
