Hello! For a while I've had an idea to create a game that is similar to many Grand Strategy games but with elements of a God Simulator. I have designed a game document that goes over all of the stuff that I want to include and you can read it here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cfU1AkK-pSIERz8okX4_3X17cYjuxSZ9/view?usp=drive...

But as I said, it is a God Simulation Grand Strategy game. I want it to be free and open source and very optimized for weaker hardware and with a lot of modability! I'd like to split the work load up so the coder/s will do all the coding while I do the all the graphics and create all the scenarios in the scenario script editor. Though the coder/s can help out with graphics and scenario creation if they wish to. If the game is finished, I will set up donations and the coder/s will make 50 to 100% of all the profit that is made from the game. I really hope this game can be made, it would be a dream come true.

Ah, what kind of checks? And how exactly are countries handled?

Regardless of all of that, it's a genius solution! And creative at that! Truly, a beauty of Ages of Conflict is the custom maps!

Wow, really? That's impressive! And unexpected. So, I assume that the various colors have an AI and when a certain color, say white, is detected, it will automatically assign the AI to that color? And then just repeat that for the whole map?

Hello Jokupelle! I am working on my own game with a similar idea to Ages of Conflict, and I really wanted to know how you coded the map and countries! Like, did you use Cellular Automata to make the game? How do maps work? I really am curious, so please, go into detail if you respond! :)
