You can choose to be vegan in Steps 2 and going forward, but the MC is a little too young in Step 1 for us to have made that something they're fully aware of. MC doesn't have vegans in their family, so they need more time to figure it out for themselves. I'm glad you enjoyed the demo!

I appreciate you letting me know your plans for these options. Although I would have loved to have been vegan for all of my life, that is unfortunately a common story for someone with a family unsupportive of such a decision. I personally also started taking steps towards veganism only just slightly earlier than the age the characters are in Step 2 once I started learning to cook.
And yes! The demo is wonderful. I really loved playing though Our Life: Beginnings & Always. I can tell that your team has expanded on the many things in that project, which already culminated in a truly amazing experience, in this game just from what you have shown off in the demo. I'm looking forward to purchasing the full release and dlc once they come out, and seeing more of Tamarack and Qiu.
(P.S. This has probably been said a lot, but thank you as well so much for all the effort you put into making the game inclusive for nonbinary people, as well as for going to the extent of having one of the lead character be nonbinary. It makes me feel happy in a way I can't describe)
