Just leave a gap between downloads... you don't have to download every single update. Wait until there's enough content to satisfy you and then download the latest version.
In the meantime I'm going to keep releasing every two weeks because I'm a solo developer and it helps me to get immediate feedback on stories and events so that I can course-correct if necessary.
