Hey there, i finished the game in 25 minutes and i'm ready to share some feedback. I loved the idea of being in very small and claustrophobic area with a little monster lurking around
in the first minutes the graphics felt a little bit weird but after getting used to it that wasn't a problem. But still the mesh movement still feels a lil weird
the monster's sound design could be better. I mean even like this its fine but if it were better it would make all the game feel better than it is. In some point sound effects just felt repetitive and after first 10 minutes game didn't scare me anymore (could be personal) if there was more variety in both ambient and monster sounds it could be 10x times better but i still like it.
I got stuck like 3-5 times in game. Its SO easy to forget your go-to direction and try to go different way just to discover you cannot turn to that way. It made me loose a few minutes I can say that. And for some reason I could never crawl backwards, I tried but it just did not work.
And i just wanted to say: at some point, just for a moment game felt a little bit like fnaf. I always liked the idea of task managing under pressure. And constant need of cranking the flashlight and checking the map was scary lol
After 15 minutes game just felt repetitive and i got bored. But the last 5 minutes wasn't that boring.
Game is very scary. In the first 5 minutes i considered quitting the game like 10 times. Every time I charged flashlight or looked to map it scared me. The game did very very good job on projecting horror.
Overall, game is good and polished. I love the graphic design, level design and mechanics. Good job!
I will be patiently waiting for PHOTON on steam (it's already on my wish list!)
