I played Rich's route a few updates ago and there was a lot of emphasis on the fact that we saw Spencer at home in the bathroom scene. But recently replaying I noticed That all this drama no longer exists in the new updates.
Depending on your choices, you might not see it, but they do mention it a few times after the event (though that's also dependant on your choices).
