nice and polished but the one thing i would change is i would make the transition to micro carrot less long. having an entire transition effect for it just feels like too long and too much especially since it's something you're doing so often. why not just have a super mario bros style little transition without transitioning the whole screen? i guess something change on the screen as well but yeah it's a little hard on the eyes.
