Sorry, I didn't want to say this because I have been a big Gamezl fan for a while, but the sad truth is that this game mostly sucks.

To be fair, I was actually enjoying it quite a lot at the beginning, until I realized that it wasn't as good as it first seemed.
And when I came to that final part where I had to follow the screaming in the woods, I found myself wandering around forever like an idiot, and the screams' direction never made any sense, so I ended up quitting the game and watching a video of it in YouTube.
That totally ruined the experience for me. But the ending was quite disappointing, so it's not like I was missing much anyway...

Also, what was the point of talking to all those random people just for NOTHING at all?
Really, you just talk with each character only once and they serve no other purpose other than to create the false sensation that this game is deeper and bigger than it actually is. You never see any of those characters again and nothing important happens to them either. And yes, you could argue that a similar thing happens in other Gamezl game that I like, which is 'Missing Hiker.'
But in that case it was fine because it wasn't open world and you were just looking for someone. But in this case, it just felt wrong because your character is supposed to be an officer/investigator, and there are some characters and certain places that I wanted to investigate a lot more.

What happened to the officer that you first encountered in the game?
What about the guy who was stuck at the side of the road? Did he survived?
What about that weird girl who didn't want to talk to you?
Why is it that people do not like the police around here?
Did something happened at the motel? Because I felt like I needed to investigate that area deeper...

I could literally go on and on asking for questions that were sadly never answered.
All of this gave me the impression that this game was probably unfinished or made in a hurry.

Edit: Oh, and to make things even worse, I just realized (after replaying it) that you can finish the whole game without even talking to ANY of the characters at all. You can literally just go straight to the cabin and unlock the ending without doing anything else, which further proves that all the NPCs are 100% pointless.
Seriously, what kind of "game" is this?

And don't get me wrong, I truly love the other Gemezl games, and this one definitely had potential. I was really waiting for this game and I had high expectations for it because the previous games were so great.
And this game really felt creepy, suspenseful, and the open hub world concept felt cool at first. The fact that the story was centered around mimics was a good idea, because I love all those stories about mimics and doppelgangers; that's something that I find truly scary and disturbing.
So, the concept was great...But the execution and the ending were a major letdown in my humble opinion.

2 out of 5 stars (and trust me when I say that I wanted to rate this higher).
