The gentle piano and choir at the beginning appropriately capture the feeling of joy of creation. The glitchy progression into the beat-heavy electronic void is very well-executed and I think does a good job of conveying regret. The melody that emerges about 2.5 minutes into the song seems to have a lot of emotion behind it and works well to convey the feelings in your song title.
