The image should be left alone if no matching image is found. I can’t confirm compatibility but it should only change if the matching path isn’t null

On your testing, did you disable/reload Aric's after disabling the other mods or just disable them? It seems to be working for mine, so I am wondering if it didn't override the base file with Aric's because it was already loaded. If you didn't try that, would you mind testing it and seeing if it works for you then?
