i have a problem. So i downloaded the file for windows version and i extracted the file, but nothing was in there after i extracted it. i need help on how to actually extract and launch the game

This sounds like either a possible corrupted download or your anti-virus software is blocking the file.
Check out your settings and allow the file through. Some antiviral software flags some files as false threats.
Also make sure the download doesn't get interrupted or paused, as it might cause the game to not extract properly.
