I can't recall at the moment, but there *should* be a mechanic that lets you switch back but there's a chance the trigger is broken. If you could, can you upload your save to a file sharing site? (Google files/drive, mediafire etc) and reply to this comment with a link or you can poke me on our Discord server over here: https://discord.gg/ahitr
If something is broken we can have a look and fix it for a future version of the game.
