This is awesome! I saw a screen shot in the Phaser discord and was very happy I got to play it! I may have to play around with matter.js! Very cool use of the controllers, too!
be aware, matter.js can be very finicky and frustrating. Also very random. Sometimes an object behaves, and sometimes it will just jump off and go and pretend its a kangaroo. I used another tool - Physics Editor - that made making the shapes for the items and vehicles super easy.
