Hey Slothclap! This is a really cool game! I really love the retro vibe you chose and I really dig the ship model! A couple of things I would add is maybe you could add a vertical mechanic to the game so you could jump over blocks. Also I noticed when playing that it only showed my high score, I think it would be cool if it showed the current score I got after every attempt along with the high score.
Those were just a couple of ideas I had! Cool first game and good luck on future games!
