I couldn't quite figure out how to get into the castle, but I loved the opening cutscene and the enemy sprites. I would've liked to see more of the game's assets made in this style and more of the game's character expressed through the game's keywords and items. Don't be afraid to put NPCs around that tell the player where to go.

I messed up the “door” tiles on the castle OOPS. And not that it’s the Judging Period I can’t fix it :/
