I wouldn't say that we've been silent. Anyone who asks for updates gets an answer. However building the slideshow as you put it is just that. Busy work. It's mostly rendering backgrounds, checking presentations and making sure everything plays well I'm testing. If I were to make a news post just for that it would be all of one sentence long.
