Can the game be a sequel if the assets are newly made (or already existed as stock assets)?

So... Let's say I have a series of humorous games where I already liked to use lots of crusty stock assets as a sort of running joke constantly to begin with. Would it be reasonable to make a new entry of that series for the Jam as long as all the assets are either A. pre-existing assets I didn't make myself to begin with that I have the rights to use (e.g. stock assets etc.), or B. assets I made during the Jam period itself?

Rule 3 says games have to be made "entirely" during the Jam, but it's not the most clear on what that means for, say, sequels, so... kinda need to ask to have a better idea on what implications that rule might have on what I might wanna do for this, sequel or otherwise, honestly.

Also, while I'm here... I'd imagine stock assets are fine as a whole given the description mentions stock assets as crusty, but rule 3 itself doesn't admittedly make it clear what "entirely" means in the context of that either. But I'm guessing stock assets as a whole are probably fair game despite that because of the other part of the description in question. Just, wanna point that out while I'm here that I had to take a bit to figure out "okay stock assets are fine" since I'm making this post anyway.

I'm still undecided on if I can really feasibly make time for the Jam, and the answer here probably doesn't affect that, but it does affect what kind of mental preparations I should be making in the event I do decide to try to fit in time to make something for this while making my current main project, hence why I'm asking before I've even decided if I'm joining or not.

(And hey, maybe the answer to this will be useful for somebody else either way!)

I don't see a problem with that. The rule is more that you can't make anything SPECIFICALLY for your jam submission before time starts.

Oh! Thanks for clarifying, that's good to know.
