Suggestion: Pinkie Rabbit Land - A Minigame inside a DS game (Last Window)

Hello there!

I can't overstate how much I am glad that these simulations exist because they are everything I ever wanted, and more!

I wanted to suggest the following:

A DS game called "Last Window: The Secret of Cape West", has a G&W minigame called Pinkie Rabbit Land.  I think it can be recreated by using the Crab Grab simulation due to both of them having the same controls and similar button layout.

Last Window: The Secret of Cape West Part #7 - Looking Through the Window

Last Window: The Secret of Cape West Part #35 - Playing a Game

I have the sprites of the game, which are as follows:

But I did not do much of research regarding the game's logic. I could film some footage of me breezing through with a score as high as possible. Here's some video available from someone else:

What do you think?

Thanks for the great suggestion!

Let's give it a try :)

I'll put together a  initial prototype with the resources you've provided and we can take from there.

Looks like fun to play.

Hey Flyzy. It actually is quite fun to play :) You can try out an initial build here.

You even used the original case, very impressive. And really fun to play indeed. Is it not ready yet to be released?

I'm hoping to get a longer gameplay video to improve on the accuracy  of the difficulty progression. And, I'm not sure if this in the actual game, but I think the rabbit should automatically jump up on to the rope if the player stays on the ground for too long (otherwise they could stay there indefinitely). Either way, I'll be releasing it as a Homebrew on RetroLab since it was never released as a physical LCD game as I've recreated it in this version.

Noticed indeed one could stay @ the bottom like for ever.   :D    An automatic jump on the rope after a period of time would seem to be expected, kinda like the orange Donkey Kong does. Maybe a little speed up of the sequence and more frequent launches of the projectiles, depending on the scoring could be applied, as in most G&W games.

Thanks again for your suggestion.

You can try out an initial build for Pinkie Rabbit Land here

I've taken the liberty to add some G&W style features like the time, alarm and ACL functions.

I've implemented the gameplay based on the link to the video you provided. I probably need a longer video to figure out the difficulty progression, but for now (just for testing purposes) the maximum number of enemies on screen increases when the score reaches 20, 60 and 100 points. The speed also increases as the score increases.
