my review:
The game is very good. The music and soundeffect are very nice. Just do a other sound for picking uf stuff and get damage that kinda confused me.
I love the graphic just because its pixelart :D one thing thoug you should do that the world and the player have the same proportion. in the castle level the background pixel were bigger than the player pixel. but this is just a little detail.
It fits to the theme, well done!

maiby you could have implemented checkpoint in the middle of one level. but maiby i am just to bad :D
