Hello, thank you for including a mac version. I appreciate your art, both CGs and sprites for your game. I finished the game and was surprised by how I understood the science behind it. It was also not the yandere that I was expecting.

This is just my personal preference but I do tend to like love interests who are yanderes only to the MC. Like they don't share the same affection towards other people even before they met MC. They're crazy and show their obsession and possessiveness exclusively to the MC.

I'm not saying that your love interest isn't a yandere tho. Just not my type of yandere. Still, I enjoyed the game. I miraculously got the ending where the MC got better. Maybe I was too honest at choosing responses hahaha.

Hi there! Thank you so much for playing my game! It means a lot! I'm so happy that you liked the art of the game! People in the comments were asking for a mac version so with the help of some tutorials I managed to upload the mac build. And, yes, I researched a lot about infectious diseases while writing the game so there'd be some reality behind the supernatural stuff and to showcase Louhi's knowledge in his field. I'm very happy that you were able to understand the science behind it. I was afraid I would make the players too confused. Yes, Louhi is kinda different from your average yandere. Thing is, Louhi's circumstances are difficult and kinda different than most yandere.

Due to Louhi's disease-spreading powers, his partners always get sick and don't last long. But Louhi can't stand being alone. He's desperate for love, appreciation, emotional validation and praise. He's a narcissistic "emotional vampire" that will devour everything in his path because he's desperate for love and companionship. That's why he's always changing partners and can't afford to have a "special one" because they'll always die on him and he'll get lonely again(which is his worst fear). He always needs to have someone by his side or else he'll get lonely. Remember how his family rejected him because of his inconvenient powers and how even his fellow upirs avoid him because they find him annoying and a liability? He feels alone in the world so he wants someone to be there for him.

Even if he didn't have disease-spreading powers, he's imortal and old so his human partner will always die before him and he'll get lonely again(and he can't let this happen). Why doesn't he date another upir then? Because Louhi thinks they are too strong and independent while he's too possessive, controlling and clingy so they won't wanna deal with his bs and give him the time of the day. Louhi prefers to date humans because he deems them as worth of protection. He wants his partner to depend completely on him and to be seen as a savior/caretaker/provider so he'll feel loved and needed.

I also decided to make him possessive and obsessive torwards more than one person in order to make every player feel like they have a chance with Louhi. Quite often I find myself thinking why a yandere falls in love with the mc and not with someone else and why they will never be able to love another person again. Most people imagine themselves as the special mc while I feel like I'll never have a chance with them because they only love the mc due to very particular and restricted circumstances. That's why I decided to give the love interest a believable reason why they fall in love with the mc and why they can fall in love again with another person.

I completely understand your point tho. I just thought your comment was a great chance to talk more in depth about Louhi's character since you mentioned different types of yandere. And, yes, I find it a miracle that you were able to get the ending where the mc got better without the walkthrough! Again, thank you so much for playing and enjoying my game! It means a lot to me! I really appreciate your comment!
