I went down a couple of extra floors (2 I think?) but now trying to descend once more freezes the game (the music's still playing). By the way I forgot to mention that when an elephant tries to attack it also freezes the game.

Apparently they're going for pixel art and judging by the art on the bottom of the page https://cccretina.carrd.co/#pixelart the style would clearly fit the same kind of game you made. I'm saying that as someone who fears to work with someone I don't know so I'd be the first one to understand if you won't either.
