Your proposed modifications sound okay so long as you clarify what the new obstacle is/does in your final submission, that your new levels are unique from each other and the tutorial levels, your new UI is created by you and credited to you and is more than simple changes to the UI such as color changes/repositioning buttons, we want to see effort in the changes.
