Really fun little experience!
Love the art style and the animations look really good.
I had a few issues with my mouse being behind the pause menu for some reason?
Beyond that tho the only criticism I'd have would be work on camera transitioning a little.
It can be quite jarring having my Right movement changed to needing to press the Down key instead as I transition to enter town. It's really good that movement follows the camera's direction although with how the camera currently handles it can be a bit jarring and annoying to control when transitioning areas.
Outside of camera gripes and minor menu bugs I had a really fun time with this tho and it was quite a strong base for something that could be very cool!
