Hello, to play the game with animations i need to buy the game version with the 8 episode? and how long is the gameplay?

Is episode 7 and Halloween the same? Or is it like episode: Halloween instead of a number, because i alsways thought Halloween was episode 7 and 6 was the beach scene.
