I understand well, thank you

Hello! Thanks for offering your help, as I need some right now. I'm sadly stuck on the tutorial trying to figure out how to do the polarity and such to get a signal. I sort of got it to work by pressing E and then scrolling my mouse wheel like the instructions said, but most of the time it just makes me scroll through the things in my hotbar. I have no idea how I got it to work in the first place. Trying to figure it out has me really frustrated as I've been at it for half an hour now. I really wish the controls had just been clicking, which is how we toggle the polarity switch on anyway. Thanks for any help and tips about what I might be doing wrong. I'll do my best to keep at it in the meantime and look for any other threads about this problem.
So, on the terminal, there are two knobs. On the terminal, you'll see two things that need to be edited in order to start downloading the signal. When you find the knobs, you hold your interact key on them, then use your scrollwheel to edit the dedicated filter.
Your goal is to get both to at least 99%, as they will get you the fastest results. You can see both the number of the percentage, and the colored bars on the side will also show your progress more visually. I prefer watching the numbers, because it's more in-depth feedback.
Once you get both filters to 99%, you just await the download process. I hope this helps!
Just keep in mind that you don't need to be too picky. It isn't necessary to get 100% on either of them. 99 is ideal, and usually, it's pretty easy to do so. And you'll get upgrades for your base later on that makes them even easier to manage.
If you ever need any more help, I'm always available. :) (I just don't always respond immediately, because Itch doesn't know how to send me emails about new posts until like 2 hours or more later.)
