I did this by myself while juggling my first week of classes back at college.

Its a super cool bullet hell boss rush against the gods of trickery!

what do you use to make game art

I just used photoshop to make a bunch of pieces and used the unity animation stuff to rig things together. It gives the game a decent enough look and makes animations easier than frame by frame. I just tried to keep a consistent line width
