Ranked from 30 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does your game fit the theme?
The main setting is in front of a door, leading to an unknown location.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I did write all of the code, made the music and sounds, and edited the images. Although the original images aren't mine. The licenses allowed me to use them, though, and they were rightfully credited.

The font used in the game is PixGamer (CC BY-ND 4.0 DEED), by Bryndan Meyerholt. I forgot to include it in the game credits, but will do it right after the jam.

Not bad. Good music and visual, but boring :(

Developer

I suppose it is not for everyone. Thanks for playing, and for the sincerity!

Excellent stuff! Music and visuals were correctly lo-fi for the tone of the work I think. When the high pitched synth came in right at the climax of the story (dunno how you timed it, or if it was just a happy coincidence) it made the story so much more impactful. Well done!

Thank you for playing! It was definitely timed, hahahaha. Glad you noticed it. I wanted that synth to enter at that moment, but didn’t really know how to do it. So what I came up with was playing them since the beginning at an extremely low volume as a separate track. When the right time came, I just increased its volume to a normal level :). There is surely a better way to do that, but it’s what I could do with the time given. I think a fade in would’ve made it even better, but I didn’t have time to try that out either ;_;

That was a sad story, really liked the vibe. Visuals are awesome even though there aren't many of them. Sounds are not bad too :)

Developer

Thanks youuu! Yeah, I originally thought of adding more images, but dropped the idea because of the time it would’ve taken to make them ;_;
