Do you mind expanding on what part of the controls were not to your liking? Did they feel too woobly, or too fast?
Z and X aren't the best option for action keys like that in my opinion. You could use SPACE and CTRL or SHIFT and it would be better! Don't worry tho, your game is really good :D
