I want to start with how much I enjoyed reading this VN. The characters are all interesting, and stand apart. And, though there is very little plot yet, the story seems like it's going to interesting places. I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens.

I had a question about release schedule. Please know none of this is negative criticism, but observation/feedback. I understand a lot of work goes into making these. But I have concerns stemming from the very real norm of VNs with very long release schedules being abandoned.

With that, from what I see, you're releasing a build approximately every 5-6 months. With about 18 moths of history, we're only just at the end of what I would consider the prologue (the story prior to route choices). Are there any plans to increase the release schedule at all?

I will be honest that this is also a factor in my decision to support on Patreon.

Hi! Thanks for the kind words.

I currently have no plans to increase the frequency of our release schedule. Chord Progressions is (regrettably) not my full time job. If there ever comes a time when I could make it my full time job, I would release updates much more frequently. After polling my current patrons, they prefer our team to release full and satisfying builds, so that lends itself to 20-30k word updates. As of now, 2-4 new builds a year is about the rate we can achieve at this time.

If it helps, development never really stops. Build 5 is already underway in the writing and character design phase. It's a slow but steady process.

Hope that info helps!

It does! Thank you for the response. I can't say I'm not a bit disappointed, only because I really enjoyed what I've read so far and want more, lol. I very much look forward to reading :)
