Awesome! Fire Emblem is a favorite of mine and you captured it here nicely. On the game page you mention its just a demo for your pygame engine, but are you planning on taking this project any further? Either way nice job!

I'm glad you enjoyed it!! There's a high chance that I will make a longer game in this style in the future, I just need to figure out how to do save files for the downloadable version (or it will be too long for one sitting). The way I programmed it means creating new maps at this scale isn't too difficult (only a couple hours each to make).

I did have an idea to try and make a roguelike FE-like game with randomly generated maps, that could be a fun project to work on before I make a longer one, but for now I'm going to work on games of other genres entirely.

cool, I always like to see more games in this genre! I hope you do get around to making the longer game, but either way, best of luck on all your future projects! I'll keep an eye out
