Neat game, a cool idea would be to have multiple types of pirates on one ship so the attacks aren't too simple! Always like when there's a bit of lore. Nice job!

Yeah that was the goal but since I didn't have much experience in game dev I had to sacrifice the complexities and make something simple first. Anyways glad to know you enjoyed the game😊

Heya, we had a fun time playing this!


Cool idea to split up the ships' health into multiple people! It gave a feeling of progress to the fight, especially combined with the second phase.

One of our reflections on the game is that it'd be nice if the restart time after death was shorter so you can get right back into the action again. It might also be a good idea to reduce the boss health a bit, the fights felt fairly long sometimes, especially when restarting them.

We liked what you did for the ocean, and the ships/pirates art worked very nicely in the visual setting!

I realize it now that as a developer  I have played it countless times and so I found it easy but to a new player it is unfair. I will work on restart time after the jam ends. Glad to know you had fun playing this.
