Thank you so much for the kind comment!

I was inspired by my cousin's cats (Love my furbaby nephews!) to make a cosmic horror game about a platonic yandere cat! What would you do if you gained the obsessive love of a powerful creature with little empathy and no regard for human morals? Sounded like a bad time -- and a fun story to write!

  • I wanted to write a character with social anxiety who wasn't completely miserable in their isolation -- functioning and responsible, but also a little lonely and kind of a pushover.
  • I'll admit to giggling to myself like a little gremlin when I was coming up with the 4th wall breaks, haha!
  • Since most of the endings are death endings, I knew I had to at least try to make them all interesting to see play out, so I'm glad you liked them!
  • Because cats are equal parts cute and unnerving, they make for great horror monsters. Some of the gamers I watched playing the game would say something similar to "This is just normal cat behavior!"
  • It was a hard choice to make since you'd instinctively want such a cute cat to change its ways and love you normally... but yeah, no. After all the mental torture, I felt the true ending would be much more satisfying and congruent with the story's themes I was going for!
  • I'm glad you liked the ending! I was worried it'd be a little cheesy, but I think the protagonist would be happy with a nice, simple day. And I didn't want them to be completely unrecognizable with a bunch of friends and a suddenly booming social life since social anxiety isn't so easy to get over -- and some people really are just happy in isolation with only a few friends. Baby steps are still steps forward!

Thank you for giving my game a try! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
