We have been experimenting with the idea of doing a 'play partner' mode (or new game) that has all of the commands, functionality, audio and visuals built in that would allow a 'helper' in the real world to watch, listen to and coordinate with the game to make the player's experience more immersive.
I absolutely appreciate your concerns about object penetration for those with that limit and for the ability to set preferences and guidelines in the game. It is something we have been thinking about, but did not have a plan yet for how we might support that. This is something we can bring back to the forefront to examine again.
In terms of supporting real world objects and placement that the game could incorporate, we may find that that is too big of a coding / design task for our team of two to handle, but it does make total sense and we can put some thought into how this could work.
