I wasn't able to know how to help the other guy, so I didn't discover if there was a good ending. I advice you to be extremely clear with the controls of your game, specially when the game is for PC and the are a los of possible key combinations. It was a good idea! As I read in other comments, this is your first game, so I have to congratulate you for start developing. Keep participating on jams and eventually your game's quality will improve.
