Woah, thanks, we are really happy to see such a positive feedback !

For me (Topy), it was my 3rd game jam and my 5th jam-like event. For the others it was their first and we are really happy with the way our game turned out, and thrilled to see that you liked it ! 

As you pointed it, the story was added later in the development process, that's why it doesn't reallyl show into the game, we'll take that into account for future games ^^
