Bad Points:

-Main one is all the default graphics, menus, font, enemies, etc.Looks like every amateur game ever!

-Enemies battles are too frequent. Gets to be a pain to play and go anywhere.

-Enemy difficulty scales up too fast with too little experience. To level up, you need to do many tough battles, healing between each one, and the tougher enemies give almost identical experience!

-Maps are a bit weird. Like weird large open spaces and dead ends.

-To, too, two!

-Classes felt wrong. Why is my bard chicken doing much of the damage?

Keep making games! It was fun, and there’s always room for improvement. Lots of free resources can spruce up a basic project.

Ty for trying out the demo. The fact that you felt as everything is default, is kind of the point. I will be changing sprites for the actors and possibly the menus when I get time but the world is supposed to feel like every other game to go with the theme of the game.

I am still testing encounter rates for each area but the game is made to be difficult with each area feeling as though you are starting over. I have been playing with a few stat changes to both enemies and heroes to give that feeling without it being a massive spike from one area to the next. Hopefully I can get that update out soon.

Chicken is glitched. He can't use his spells as much as everyone else and he isn't as physically strong as hero but stronger than the mage. Magically he is stronger than hero but less than mage. He is kind of the middle ground with supportive abilities. I want to be able to give him a decent role and make it feel like he is starting to become a hero rather than a random chicken that was just thrown into that role. I want the players to feel his transformation as the game goes on so I am working on his abilities to make it feel that way. The Natures call ability does need toned down a bit though.

Default graphics does make sense story wise, but RPG Maker fans have seen them so much, the plot won’t make up for us seeing the same old thing.
