I've talked with my Patrons about this a few times , but "sex" scenes begin once the story progresses to a certain point. Many players prefer gradual progression of events rather than jumping straight into the deep end. I agree with that since this is a game that provides a laid back atmosphere.
Despite the fact that there are not "sex" scenes, there are many lewd events. Roughly 20% of 100 (120?) events are lewd. If you count the sensuals, it's probably closer to 30%.
The last thing I'll address are character ages. I've purposely stated the ages of all characters in game. This is something most game developers won't do because they want to cause "wink wink-legal" implications. I'm the opposite. I modeled these characters by comparing them to real people of comparable age. It's also why every character has an official, stated age. There's really no misconceptions to be had at this point (unless someone is just committed to misunderstandings).
