Makes sense.
The public version is free.
The itch.io and Patreon versions are the same (latest version of the game, v 9).

The itch.io version is a one time purchase. Patreon is for people who want to support development of the project.

Not sure I understand the question (or maybe it's phrased wrong?)

You asked if buying (purchasing) count as the "free version"?

No, because you paid for it so, not free. The paid and free versions are also not the same.

Thanks for your support, and I'm doing alright!

Hello, yes.
You're playing the public version of the game. The latest version has all the content.
Edit: I just recently made a post about this, and I will try to clear up any confusion by making an update later on today. Thanks for your insight

https://mybiglittlebrother.itch.io/tgdays/devlog/944456/why-cant-i-

I'll see what I can do. Thanks for the feedback

Those aren't errors I can fix. Those are related to Ren'py engine.
Try updating to the latest version and see if it sorts your problem out. As the error log suggests, those are .py files (python code files). I use .rpy files (renpy file type) for my related code.

Jessica and Janet have content in Version 9 (I think maybe Janet originally had some version 8 content, but a bug was encountered so I had to fix it). For context, if you can't access anything in version 8, its because it's in version 9 of the game or moved to Version 10's plans.

Hello. Everyone's got the same copy of the game, so the issue may be related to a save file. or your system.
You'd need to post the actual error log (which you can copy and paste here) before I can give you any other insight.
If you're trying to load a save file and you're getting that error then my advice would be to try starting from a different save file.

If you saved during an event (for example) or some other code that was moved around or deleted - it would cause a crash and there's no way to "fix" that persay.

If none of those are the issue then you'd actually need to try doing some work about the exact error you're getting because it could be an error in the memory of your computer's PC.

That's possible, I was thinking that a few of Himari's friends would visit at some point...

Getting there!

No, I don't really have funds like that. Maybe one day!

It's on the screen where you sleep - lower right when it becomes available.

When I'm done it will be a framework that can be used for others to create their own games.

I am hesitant to say "visual novel", because that's not really what I'm going for.

Ultimately I plan to add a lot of systems that go far beyond "visual novels" , this is just the first module.

Thanks, I'll try to work on my social skills a bit more.
Perhaps it's just a lack of breakfast and having just woke.

I'm sorry you feel it's "reactive".

But, once again, if you've been following my life and project for the past few months - you'd know that everything I do ultimately is preparation for HPC.

Including this "game", which is actually just  one feature (the dual cultivation system to be used in HPC).  This has been discussed, several times, over on Patreon. Even the existence (and purpose) of this alt page was discussed there as well.

So, it's nothing personal on my end - just a fact really.

I think if you were a genuine fan of Heavenly Peaks, you would know how foolish it is to post something like this.

Hello,
Jessica's content is for version 8, it was a mistake that she was available previously. So, it's just Janet for v8.

Nothing's wrong with the game. Thousands of people have gotten these same exact files to work.

Play it on PC if you're able, if not, follow the instructions.

The issue is related to your phone's settings. You need to directly enable "unsigned" apps to run on your phone.  I've done this hundreds of times now by people who claim it doesn't work and, when they follow the steps outlined in the post I linked you to - works fine.

Otherwise, I can offer you a refund. Not much besides that I can do for you.

You don't have to pay to play the demo. It's free.

The demo is the public version.

Ah, yea. I appreciate the support.
I think you'll like this version of the game.  So far, I'm pretty pumped about it and things are shaping up well.
About 95% done with the framework at the moment, just got a few things to polish here and there.

Small world indeed!
I used to work on this and Heavenly Peaks at the same time when I first began.

Don't know what you mean, it's a normal download procedure (at least if you're downloading from credible sources...)

You can check the dev logs, it's there.

Also you can try this link.

Hello,
It's not that sort of game.

Yep.

Hello.
There are many cultivation games, though I'm not sure how many have adult content.
You can try steam, there are a great many there.

Hello!
View the in-game help, while some things have changed much of it is still relevant.
Also, you should make sure you actually have Talent Points to spend.

ha ha. I don't feel particularly fucked.
Actually, I'm fired up this morning.

Also, there are many laws that get broken in the US everyday. It's foolish to believe that laws will protect you, when in reality laws have always only protected a very small amount of the population.

Either way, I'm not too concerned. What will be, will be.

The same politician (who is a pathological liar) and has already enacted over 50% of those plans in their last election said they wouldn't do it again?

Guess that means we're safe - right?

As the post says, 64% of the plans have already been enacted in the last election.

They already started.

Thanks for the feedback.

Hello.
No, not yet.

Hello.

https://mybiglittlebrother.itch.io/heavenly-peaks/devlog/790480/android-fixes-re...

Most likely....never.
Unless I make serious changes to gameplay mechanics, I won't update the public demo.

I'm actually considering to stop phone support altogether.
It was never really intended to be a mobile game and dealing with support isn't really worth it at current.
I'm looking into practical ways to fix the issue before I make that call though.

All the versions are built on the same code, as I mentioned.
If you can't get mobile to work, then you'd have to play on a computer.

For more information you can reference this post : https://mybiglittlebrother.itch.io/heavenly-peaks/devlog/790480/android-fixes-re...

It's possible that there is a conflict with your phone's OS if you are overseas (not in US).
You'd have to research things according to your case.
