This is the single, most goofy platformer in the jam. The visuals are so on point for the style! The game itself is okay too, although jumping feels a bit off (in all charms really). The game reminds me of those weird flash games (in your case, that's a good thing.)

Love the idea! Now, here are the numbers:

Art: 9/10. On point!

Music: 8/10. Not noticeable, but good enough.

Theme/idea: 8.5. Pretty good!

Code/bugfixes: 8/10. Jumping feels off like I said, and I would have appreciated the ability to look down.

Some cool ideas here, and funny character! With it begin a platformer, I do wish there was some coyote time for jumps when falling past a ledge, and the camera may have been nice to be able to see up or down so you wouldnt be blind jumping off the screen. I did enjoy the parallax of the background as well, nice entry!

I was honestly hit with such a wave of nostalgia from this game, it reminds of all of those old flash games that I used to play when I was kid, good times.
I think better controls would help ( a variable jump, jump buffer,  coyete time) and just make the jump less floaty ( falls faster than it jumps). And also when you fall into the spike pit you just die slowly lmao a restart button would help.
