Seems like a solid (though a bit too simple of a) concept, and it'd be fine (though a little bit generic since nothing's really distinguishing it).

The real only problem is the combat and controls are awkward, clunky, airdashes aren't a thing for whatever reason, attacks seem to not happen when you press them, the controls are unorthodox and unrebindable.

Sometimes you'll get hit while attacking, sometimes up attacks and jumps don't work.

These are okay for games to have and they're not that big a deal, since they can be fixed...my main worry for the longevity of this project is identity, since this game doesn't seem very new or rare or has any sort of 'thing' to it that makes it special than things like it.
