Starting the game displays $2000 at first, then drops to the actual $300 after spending money. Resetting the game after using all $300 previously prevents you from spending more, even though the character has been reset.
That's a bug, the 2k is purely visual, the actual amount is stored but not displayed on the UI for some reason. It worked properly in the engine. It will be fixed the next update
Although the character weight was supposed to be saved, idk what happened there. I'll look it.
