I'm really glad to see someone using the math definition of mode! And I like how it resulted in a multi-layered use of the theme (use different modes of vision to find the mode). Also just a silly (in a positive way) concept that honestly could work as a kids cartoon or comic series. The detective and his shrimp side-kick solving crimes, haha!

That said the gameplay itself I found lacking, mostly in the feedback department. No idea how much time I had, how much time a wrong answer would cost me, and the sound effect for getting the wrong answer sounds like a correct answer type sound. When I got a correct answer, it took me a sec to realize I had actually gotten a correct answer since it didn't tell me I did. I just worried that I accidently insta-closed the defeat screen or something when I popped back to the main menu.

Music was pleasant and present, both of which are high marks for a jam game. And while I'm not sure about anyone else, for me I'd say you had a good font choice for the numbers. I could read them quickly and easily even in shrimp mode.

Overall, good job!

Thanks. I tried more feedback methods but most of them allowed the player to brute force their way through.  I also wanted the detective to have to dust for finger prints and try to find numbers based on the amount of prints. There just wasn't enough time for me to make both the scripts and assets.
