Hello, there was a small mistake in the changelog that has already been corrected. It should not be possible to perform any common activities at night.
Regarding the utility of the night, it will be used for some specific events in the future, for the main story, and for certain character routes. But we will consider allow training until night time.
It can be an issue with your save. We cannot guarantee compatibility from one update to another.
