Alright I think I've found the solution actually! I've pushed it to the Steam beta version.

Would you mind trying the steam beta when you get a chance?

This is different from the pre-release beta. To enable it:

  1. Right click Juice Galaxy in your steam library
  2. Click 'Properties'
  3. Click the 'Betas' tab
  4. Select 'beta-beta' from the dropdown box

Steam will then update Juice Galaxy. You may have to restart Steam.

what do you do after that bc it says I need a code for the beta? I have been force quitting and force quitting and force quitting and still won’t work

Hi there! This post is a bit dated and the beta track doesn't currently differ from the main track. Unfortunately, the experimental changes I had in there did not solve the original issue, and I'm still trying to find a solution. Could you describe your experience a bit more?

  • Are you on Mac?
  • Are you having the same issue? (Buttons are invisible, but can be clicked?)
  • What buttons are you using to force quit? Do they work for you?
  • Did a previous version of Juice Galaxy work for you?

Thanks for your time and sorry for the inconvenience. :)

I am on a mac

I’m expiriencing the same problem(I can’t start the game)

I do option+cmd+esc to force quit(I can force quit but the game still won’t work)

I don’t know I did not try yet

(The answers are in order)

I have a idea💡💡💡 maybe if you find the problem, get on a Alt, and Test it tk see if it will finally work, the problem will be solved

Thank you for the quick answers! I'm sorry I haven't managed to track down the cause yet. I do test using my own mac, but I haven't been able to reproduce the issue on it. I will continue banging my head against the wall regarding this issue and post here again when I think I've found something.

If you'd like to receive a notification when I post here again, you can subscribe to this thread using the link at the top of the page.

is it part of the coding?

I'm not sure, although I may have found a solution, would you mind testing it?

I've added a new post at the bottom of this thread about how.
