I don't really know how to get into how much I loved this twine. I feel like anything I came up with wouldn't make the rawness and honesty of the story justice, but I just wanted you to know that I really liked it, and it touched me. I've met these two kids before plenty of times in my life, and have been in those kinds of malls.
Moreover, though I'm not Brazilian, I am from Argentina, and I feel there's something in common between us that is very well observed and shown here, from the description of the city to the businesses and the people. But most especially that debilitating, yet proud feeling regarding where you live. Yes, it fucking sucks, a lot of us dream of getting out, but it is also in our bloods, and we're not gonna let anyone else badmouth it.
I'm glad I read this, and I'm glad you wrote it. It's a very real situation written well, and it's exactly what I want out of twines like these.
Also: "5: where trans girls and girl-like beings have their first dates." I love the term girl-like beings.
