EDIT: There is a dash mechanic. The devs have been very kind to ppl like me who suck at platformers. :) If you find yourself stuck like I was, keep trying because there's definitely a way to progress. <3
I love your use of the jam theme. The game made me smile while playing it and that's has to be the entire point of a video game, right? It has tons of character and I think the writing is very fun.
Everything I'm about to say I'm prefacing with the fact that I'm not a gifted platformer and only play a small number of them.
I did find it too difficult, this level in particular. I died a tremendous amount even in the first couple of levels, and this level was where I gave up.
I think this is probably about the right difficulty for people who enjoy platformers, so I'm still giving good ratings, and am assuming I just am a slow reflex noob.
Since I can't actually get too far in the game, I would really love to see some screenshots of the later levels, would you mind attaching those to your game entry?
