can't believe there are no comments on this yet!

really really enjoyed the game, I won't pretend to fully understand it but it's downright genius how it explores our connection to old technology and nostalgia.

if you don't mind, is there anything that can be shared about the creative process behind it? any notable influences or inspiration sources, outside the obvious famicase?

(1 edit)

wowo thank you so much!

Uhm some influences that comes to mind are the onee I've used for the characters:

-the old owner of the watch repair shop was inspired by a real shop that was in my town when I was a kid, they dealt with all sort of electronics cable/adapters and bootleg games. Another inspiration was an italian comic book called "Arriva Sergio" by Dottor Pira, talking about an infallible guy who repairs computers (currently only in italian)

-the  concept of celestial envoys is taken from Okami (one of my favorite games)

-the story of the young student who might be a ghost sending signals from space (spoiler!) was partly inspired by another italian comic book, Dylan Dog issue n. 136 (I think there's an english translation online), but the comic itself was also inspired by a book by Umberto Eco

uhm maybe I'll make a post-mortem commentary when I have time ! Thank you again!

late reply, but if you have the time, please do! it'd be a pleasure to read it!
